Trying something different.. Football Sports Photography

Sometimes life can get a bit too comfortable and then something comes up that pushes you out of your comfort zone. Other times you need to do that on your own. My friend is a coach for one of the local high school football teams. He’s passionate about football and I thought it’d be fun to check out a game and take some photos. I have a background in photographing sports but this was a different kettle of fish. Most of the sports I’ve shot over the years have been in some what of a controlled environment.  Football on the other hand is not one of those sports! I didn’t know what was going to happen, as it is when you’re watching any sporting event.  My strategy was to pray, shoot as much as possible and hope that I got some usable photos! Have a look at the photos below which I think turned out pretty well!  It was fun to get out and see the game and get out of my comfort zone.
