Good bye Chi-Cheemaun

Today was the day that the Chi-Cheemaun left Owen Sound to head up north to Tobermory and start it’s warm weather service between Tobermory and Manitoulin Island.

For some reason it made me a bit sad.  All winter I was so used to seeing the Chi-Cheemaun sitting in the harbour.  It was comforting. But now I feel like I’m missing something.  Is that a bit strange?  I wonder if other citizens of Owen Sound feel the same way?!

Perhaps it is a bit strange but now, I guess, I’ll have to head up north to Tobermory to visit the Chi-Cheemaun again and go exploring!

That’s not a bad thing, is it?!
